Cooking Instructions - General - For Pancakes:. Pancakes 6-9: Mix 1 cup, Water ⅔ cup. Pancakes 12-18: Mix 2 cups, Water 1⅓ cups. Pancakes 18-27: Mix 3 cups, Water 2 cups. For thicker pancakes use a little less water; for thinner pancakes use a little more water. ➊ Heat skillet over medium-low heat or electric griddle to 375°F. Skillet is ready when drops of water sizzle, then disappear almost immediately. ➋ Combine mix and water in a bowl. Stir with wire whisk until large lumps disappear. Over mixing may toughen pancakes. ➌ Pour slightly less than ¼ cup batter for each pancake onto lightly greased skillet. ➍ Turn when pancakes bubble and bottoms are golden brown. For Waffles:. ➊ Heat waffle iron. ➋ Combine the following ingredients: 2 cups mix, 1 ⅓ cups cold water, ⅓ cup oil. ➌ Stir until large lumps disappear; allow batter to rest 4-5 minutes before baking. ➍ Pour desired amount of batter into lightly greased waffle iron. Bake until steaming stops. Makes four 7" waffles.

I use this primarily and about 90% of the time for waffles! In spite of what "the box and instructions and everyone else says"... I always add 1 or 2 more eggs. This is the one reason why we should keep a small buttermilk in a jug or carton and use this instead of water or milk! Why? You could swear that you didn't make waffles, but rather Belgian Waffles! Nice, crispy, airy, and puffy. The secret here is to add anywhere from ¼ teaspoon to ½ teaspoon of baking powder or baking soda. And here's another secret, make a large batch, place each waffle in the oven baking sheet, bake at 140 to 180 degrees for about half hour to allow to "dry up". Then place them one by one in a Zip Loc bags... let all the air out, and toss in freezer! You now have Toaster Waffles or Microwave Waffles - quick and easy and ready to go!

Try it this way
Sometimes I am not in the mood for pancakes, I grease an 8 inch round pan with butter or margarine, and dump a can of pie filling. Then I make the batter, putting a tblsp of cinnamon, 1/4 tsp of ground nutmeg and 2 or 3 packets of stevia sugar with the pwdered pancake batter, stir to combine. Pour either water or oat milk until you have a pourable batter but not too thick. Pour over apple pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees until your cake taster comes out clean. I eyeball it all the time. It comes out good, I like it.

Great value I like that i only need to add water to make great pancakes. I usually throw in frozen blueberries, or frozen strawberries, fresh bananas, nuts, chocolate chips, or a combination of them. Also a little dry pancakemix makes omlettes fluffier.
