Honestly, I thought the cinnamon sticks were a bit pricey, for the size and number in the bottle. But perhaps that is a sign of the times. The taste from a stick is more subtle than if you just shook finely ground cinnamon into your baking. So, I'll continue to use it, but don't know if I am committed to this brand.

GV cinnamon sticks smell amazing
I use two GV cinnamon sticks for stovetop potpourri during the wintertime to keep the house smelling warm and welcoming. I add it to a saucepan with water, apple peels, orange peels, cranberries, whole cloves, allspice and powdered cinnamon. I bring the water to a boil, turn it down to a simmer and let it go. I check it once an hour to make sure it doesn't boil away all the water. It smells great! Great Value has good prices on spices and especially cinnamon sticks. They can be expensive and I'm glad I can get these for a reasonable price
