I bought this because I don't eat enough meat for protein. At first I was buying name brand, but then I came across Great Value brand and decided to give it a try. It has the same flavor but I found it to be a little softer on my gums. The meat seems to be sliced thicker so it's not as dryed up and doesn't get stuck in my teeth. The name brand seems to always have me reaching for flosser sticks before I am done with one piece. I will definitely buy again. I hope it comes in multiple flavors. Delicious
