I've been a Starbucks Via drinker since it first came out. It started going downhill in flavor %26 quality, then this past winter slid all the way down - gritty, burnt mud taste.So I looked for an instant that was drinkable. Tried several varieties of Tasters choice and Nescafe, they were all awful. Finally I tried Great Value Columbian. It was so much better than all the others, and far less expensive. I'm not comparing it to the old Starbucks, but the GV brand is better than anything else I've tried in the past 6 months, especially the new Starbucks.

My morning starter

I've tried several brands of instant coffee and I've selected Great Value 100% Arabica Colombian Medium-Dark Roast as my favorite. It just hits the right spot for that morning starter. A recent surprise was my new coffee pot with a temperature control. It recommended 205 deg F for instant coffee. When I tried it, I could actually tell the difference between the brews made at 205 and 212 in both aroma and taste. So, now I have the perfect morning starter and probably a second cup of richness with that Cinnamon-Resin toast.

Best Coffee

I like this instant coffee the best of all instant coffees on the market. I like it strong, black with a drop of DoTerra OnGuard oil dropped into it. I am bummed my last order delivered on Nov 9, 2025 was missing this item along with a couple of additional items.
