Honeywell 30 pt 3000 sq ft Dehumidifier in White - Smart Technology Capable, Energy Efficient

Had to cancel 3000 sq ft unit (would not be big enough for the job). HOWEVER, I just purchased the same Honeywell Smart Wi Fi '4000' sq ft Dehumidifier. Let me tell you, Honeywell KNOWS HOW TO MAKE dehumidifiers. The unit keeps a very damp large basement dry and smelling great and it does it very quietly!! They know their stuff... invest in one.

For some reason, the new apartment I moved into was very humid inside! I began by buying moisture absorbing bags and hanging them up. That brought the humidity down, but only a few percentage points. Doubling that would have cost too much! I saw this dehumidifier for under $100 that could take up to 50 pints of water out of the air! I put it on a flat surface near the center of my apartment and immediately saw results. The first day, I had to empty the tank 3 times...the second day, I emptied it twice! From the third day, I only have to empty it once in the evening! I was able to turn my AC up one degree to get it really comfortable in here. I had set it for 45%, but it worked so well, it became too dry! So now, at 50%, it is mostly in the 40s range, which is what I wanted! No odors now and my towels and dishes dry. I purchased this because it was Energy Star rated. I check the plug daily to make sure it isn't hot. I needed something energy efficient. I might update this when my electric bill arrives. That is the true test!
