Granite Ware 18" Covered Oval Roaster, 15 Pound Capacity, Roasting Pan

I bought a roasting pan for cooking turkey . As did I once before. I was taught that buying cookware is not so varied as you might expect. It's important when cooking, even a professional chef, has to learn how to cook with their new equipment. Cooking equipment of about probably all kinds. You can spend more or you can spend less. You only have to learn how to cook with it. I have to say I still have a dislike for no stick Teflon. My mother had a roasting pan that I used to roast a whole 3-4lb chicken in. I learned to cook them really well. In fairness I have to say I got the best deal of the 3 sizes that were offered for sale. I got the 18", the 19" was crazy more expensive. Anyway, I like the quality of this roaster , and I got a good price.

This pan was amazing and it did the job perfectly. I ordered two of these to have for thanksgiving and I grew up with my mother and grandmother cooking with these pans. Thanksgiving dinner was immaculate, due to these pans. My husband was able to shred up the turkey and pork shoulder (pernil) due to these pans. I've even made oxtails in them since getting them. The meats were so juicy and tender, I will definitely be ordering three more of these pans that way I'm able to pass them down to my daughters.
