Golden Harvest is owned by Newell Corporation, which also owns Ball, Bernardin and Kerr jars. All are manufactured in US or Canada in same facilities. I sincerely doubt they have a different formulation, just a gold color for the gold harvest, to match the name. The illusion of choice in a monopoly of brands like this, leaves one with the only real choice, the least expensive. Golden Harvest is the best value out there for canning supplies.

Love my Golden Harvest lids
These are the best lids ever!! I'm an experienced longtime canner. These lids are tried and true. Time after time, I reach for my Golden Harvest lids above all others. These will not fail. If they buckle or fail, you've done one of two things wrong. Either you've tightened your rings too tight, or you've overfilled your jars. Listen to experienced canners - these lids are THE BEST!

Work great for me.
These work just as well, for me, as the slightly higher cost "brand name" also sold at WM. The lids have no writing on top, seal and stay sealed. They fit the different brands of jars I use which are this brand, another lower cost brand and the more expensive brand mentioned before...all available at WM.
