Being a chef, I usually make these homemade but I thought I'd try it. Amazingly, it was delicious. I'm not sure i could have done better myself. I served it with 2 cans of San Manzono whole tomatoes, canned is almost as good as fresh, which you can not get in the winter. I fried onions, garlic and carrots in pan, added the tomatoes which I crushed with potato masher, added onion powder, garlic salt and fresh basil..simmered for 25 minutes to get all the flavors to combine. The pasta took less then 8 minutes to cook in boiling salted water. Used pasta bowls to serve and laddled sauce over top along with freshly shredded parm cheese. NOTE: ONE BAG ONLY SERVES 3 PEOPLE MAX.
