It has been about 30 days since it was installed. My electric bill dropped. I had a older LG ac unit and I used it alot it broke my heart when it broke, I had it for 7 years. but since I got this new one my light bill went down 100.00 dollars. Super energy efficient. They made improvements, and I appreciate it. I could not be happier. This unit is so quiet, I am amazed you can't hear it running all threw the house. It cools my 20x20 living room and my 20x10 kitchen no problem. Its installed next to my Tv so when the older one was running the TV volume was on 21 now with the new unit we only have the volume at 10. I would def recommend it. It also came witha holder for the remote no more losing it.

This unit will cool down 1,440 Sq Ft at 23,500 BTU's it is one of the largest of window units on the market. The unit is very quiet and powerful at the same time. Plus it has the ability to work with Alex and can be controlled through WIFI using LG's App that can be downloaded. The A/C unit comes with everything needed for installation but you may need some extra materials. The unit is very heavy so you will need to install support from underneath and you will also have to install a 115 volt/15 Amp receptacle to run the power. The unit has a washable filter that easily removes from the front of the unit behind the grill, just pull down on the grill from the top and remove the filter. Overall this unit works and looks great when installed. I hope to gets years of service from the LG A/C window unit!
