FEEDING FOR ADULT MAINTENANCE It is important that you feed Pro Plan to your adult cat “free choice” throughout the day, rather than as just a single feeding only at mealtime. Food intake required to maintain ideal body condition will vary, depending on age, activity and environment. Watch your cat’s weight and adjust food amounts accordingly. If you have a kitten, or a pregnant or nursing cat, you should continue feeding an appropriate Pro Plan kitten formula. MAKING THE SWITCH TO PRO PLAN Although you’ll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your cat, please allow 7 - 10 days to ease the transition from your cat’s current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you’re feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Contains a source of live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet’s health, see your veterinarian regularly.

Stanley loves this weight management food!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) One of my cats, Stanley, showed up as a starving stray. Finally able to have available food he developed the habit of overeating. I was a culprit too as he was so thrilled to get treats. After being reprimanded by the vet I was so afraid he wouldn't eat a weight management food. However, when I offered a bowl of Purina Pro Plan Adult Weight Management Chicken and Rice Formula he loved it! So now he starts his day with a spoonful of Fancy Feast and then smaller portions of dry during the day. Looking forward to his next weigh in to see the results.

Our Noodles is an extremely picky eater. We used another Purina dry food and were so afraid to change since that was a food she would actually eat. When I brought this bag home she tried to get it open. This instantly became a food she would run to the food cabinet for when she heard us walk towards it. And it helped her get back to a healthier weight.

It has helped my pets weight

My cats really like this product it agrees with there belly's no issues when it comes to an upset belly unless they eat to fast, it has helped with there weight tremendously I've noticed a huge difference especially with one of my cats she was never able to jump up on the counters and now she is able since being on this food they are both more active and playful
