odd arrangement, not well thought out

This came with a set of directions not specific to this faucet, after an hour with an overseas call center, I found the instructions on line. The hot-cold lines are built into the faucet sideways!, not as is common, left and right, The hose requires a heavy weight that it slides along for ease of return, that over time will wear the line out!

leaking and defective

Installed two days ago, and the shelf is damp under the faucet, turns out the cold water line has a leak at the inner connection in the faucet, posted an earlier review regarding the lack of instructions, and this is a post install update
