You Will Need: **• 1/4 cup water **• 1/3 cup vegetable oil **• 1 egg **1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Prepare baking pan by lightly greasing or spraying with non-stick cooking spray. **2. Place water, oil and egg in medium bowl and stir until fully mixed. Add brownie mix and stir until well blended. Spread in prepared pan. **3. Bake as directed below. Cool completely in pan before cutting. **Pan Size: 8" x 8" (metal); Bake Time: 39-43 minutes **Pan Size: 8" x 8" (glass); Bake Time: 43-48 minutes **Pan Size: 9" x 9" (metal); Bake Time: 39-43 minutes **• Do not overbake. Fresh-baked brownies appear underbaked but cool to doneness. **• For thicker brownies, make batter using 2 tablespoons water, 1/3 cup vegetable oil and 2 eggs. Bake as directed. **• High Altitude: Add 1/4 cup all-purpose flour and an additional 2 tablespoons water. **• Do not eat raw batter.

Lovely chewy brownies
This is my favorite go to brownie mix. I use a square glass pan, buttered. I let the brownies cool down in the glass pan and cut when cooled fully, I eat most of the chips before I make the mix, then I use 1 or 2% milk instead of water. I like soy oil but my husband uses olive oil. Sometimes I use some heavy whip cream as part of the milk and use less of the oil and it is amazing.

WOW!!! ************COULD BE CONSIDERED A REASONABLY HEALTHY TREAT!******** NO WEIRD INGREDIENTS! REAL COCOA! I purchased after comparing: TOTAL FAT SATURATED FAT TRANS FAT CHOLESTEROL THEN I USED EXTRA LIGHT OLIVE OIL in place of vegetable oil. Not much benefit, but a heck of a lot better than most vegetable oils! Pay the extra $0.50 cents or whatever and buy this brand after you compare labels with other brands. I am trying to find a better oil (one that may be nutritious) to use than extra light olive oil. Anyone has any ideas that won't interfere with the beautiful taste of Ghirardelli, let me know.
