GHIRARDELLI Dark Chocolate Premium Brownie Mix, Includes Chocolate Chips, 20 oz Box

Honestly, I've never been a big fan of brownies, until I was surpried to find a Box of Ghiradelli Dark Chocolate Brownies on my counter. My husband, not a huge brownie fan either, said it just looked good and bought it. So, made these with cake directions and substituted 1 Tbs of Pure Vanilla Extract for 1 Tbs water. I waited until they were cooled down, but husband was raving about them as soon as they were cool enough to not burn the tongue. Once I took a bite, I was convinced this was the best chocolate dessert ever! And I have had a few that were irristable to only one bite. I found no 'if only it...' or anything that could possibly be done to make these better or more ideal in this scrumptulous delight. With the incredible dark choclate taste, dark chocolate chips as a surprise inside, a truly moist delight that might be somewhat compared to a cross between a chocolate fudge like cake and brownie, there was only one other item on the list thats high on my list before its even worthy of a bite - the nutrition label. The sodium is resonable, the calories reasonable, at least a little bit of healthy to tip its scale to 'I can justify it" for indulging in something this delectable. Though in truth, it didn't need justification from my nutrition requirements. We have now bought 3 boxes. They freeze well and taste every bit as good brought to room temperature or even directly from the freezer. They do not harden like a rock in the freezer, though I'm not sure how long they would remain so. Highly recommend these! Well worth the price! They are easy to make, which is good because they disappear fast!
