When the George Kovacs Comet P1240 Outdoor Wall Sconce is illuminated, an energy-efficient LED bulb glows warmly from within a frosted inner glass diffuser placed within a solid clear glass cylinder. A simple round backplate completes the design and keeps the eye focused on the glass.

5" wide x 5" high. Extends 3" from the wall. Back plate is 1 1/2" high x 5" wide.

Exactly what I wanted, but?

I love this light-exactly what I had in mind for my outdoor seating area?.but, (and, there's always a "but") it's too bright for this style of light. The light should be much more subtle. Buy an LED dimmer and enjoy this beautiful fixture!
