George Foreman 6 Serving Classic Plate Black Grill & Panini Press

Well, after years I finally am enjoying using a George Foreman grill. The little one that I tried was my late MIL's and I disliked it after trying it. But this one must get much hotter. Loved the hamburger patty's and chicken we tried first. This will be a staple at our house. Nice that it sits up on the back hinge so it takes little room on the counter when not in use.

My old Foreman was one I got at a yard sale, no book with it. With experimenting, I tweaked my cooking times. Then one day, it started leaking out the bottom (I had had it for 5 years or more and it was used then!) Found this one on Walmart's website. It is "exactly" the same size as my old one. The technology hasn't changed, they even made it lighter than the old model. The greatest thing to me is it is one temperature. Plug it in, when it's hot and ready, the light goes out and it's cook time!!!! I turn my meats every couple minutes to brown them evenly. Cook times are a little less than before. I have tried cooking with and without cooking sprays. The key to cleaning is to clean it before it completely cools down. (I do wish the grill plates were removable but cleaning it is not all that bad.) I sit the unit next to the sink, use hot soapy water and use a sponge to clean it. It is everything I had hoped for and more. Good size for two people, can cook enough for three to four people. Highly recommend this if you are looking for an inside grill. Pork chops and chicken breasts brown up and have a crispy coating. Good price as well. I personally cannot live without my Foreman grill! It's awesome.
