These insoles have no backing on them. They are not stiff enough to put into a shoe without bunching up. I have not used them yet for that reason. I need to find a way to make them stiff enough to stay put in the shoe. I was surprised considering they came from a leather company. Maybe a cowhide backing would be good to keep them from bunching up.
