Quiet ride & excellent in the rain!

I've bought Michelin's my whole life, but so far, these General tires are as good as Michelins. Quiet ride & excellent in the rain, and stick like glue to the road. All at 50% less the price. Michelin must need all that extra money to satisfy their advertising budget. Bought 4 for my Toyota Camry, then loved them so much by 2 weeks later I bought 4 more for my wife's Toyota Sienna. We live in Texas & have monster rain storms & speed limits of 75mph everywhere....they perform great!

Great tires for a good price

I needed new tires for a Honda Odyssey minivan that had Michelin tires on it. They were very good tires but I could not afford to replace those! So I started looking for some lower priced alternatives that would not give up anything. I spent half the day researching online and came up with the General Altimax RT-43. I have only owned the tires for a few weeks so I can't attest to durability, but these tires really ride nicely and they also have no road noise. They handle great with no sloppy steering or lean. I have saved a bunch of money over the Michelins by getting the Generals with the lower price at Walmart and also the rebate from General. I have also read that these are very good with stopping distance in the rain. Tires are a very important decision as I have bought tires before that have either ruined the ride of my vehicle or that were very noisy. I ordered the tires directly to my Walmart store with free shipping and they installed them at a very reasonable price while I shopped. What a deal, very pleased with the whole process and would highly recommend.

Great tires!

I researched tires specifically for my car's best performance and durability of product. I found a great deal at Walmart. I got the tires I had been looking for along with free mounting, balancing and rotation. So far the tires have lived up to their reputation in quality and provide a smooth ride with great handling.
