Backed by an up to 75,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life depending on the tire's size, the tread pattern of the Altimax RT43 boosts traction in light snow by featuring extra sipes that create additional biting edges.

After long research I've installed General Altimax RT43 on my Nissan Versa and Prius C. These are pretty much the best all-around touring tires money can buy. Quiet, with predictable dry handling, very good wet handling, and pretty decent snow traction. Quiet ride and long tread life. One hell of a deal for the money.
