thyroid, diabetes, nerve pain. oh my!
I take this for nerve pain. I have complete neuropathy in one foot and near complete in the other. this made an incredible difference in how many good days I have and how intense the pain gets. this brand is the best I've tried. be sure you are getting r-lipoic acid not alpha lipoic acid. alpha lipoic doesn't work as well because it's synthetic and doesn't absorb as well. this brand might cost more, but you need less. I've had to have my thyroid medication lowered since starting this too. I don't know what the relationship is there, but there's something to it. I'm not diabetic, but that's what most people I've talked to take it for.
