I experience physical discomfort with other tampons. Tampax/generic cardboard applicators and the tampons that come with them are nearly unbearable. I've been using Playtex Sport for at least a decade. They're designed for motion, so they're barely noticeable, yet absorbent enough to get the job done. I will never switch as long as these exist.
