Best design but latch being discontinued?

I love this jar! It's so beautiful and easy to use. The ability to stack these is also super wonderful. However, I'm very disappointed that it's being replaced with a version which doesn't have a latch. The latch is the best part! It's hard to grip a large lid to lift it off, but flipping a latch is so much easier. This new shape is much better than the old style but now it's been ruined by taking away the latch. I'll have to find a different product in the future that I can use with my aging hands that are losing grip strength.

Ditched out the plastic for glass. The perfect glass containers for my sugars, flours. They seal up nicely. Great size. Wide enough for my stainless steel cup to fit inside to scoop out my flours and sugars. I like the square size and stores well in my pantry. Would definitely recommend.
