I had to watch u tube to figure it out. We pay and these companies cant even sent out proper instructions. Instructions on box stinks. The cleaner snaps in but u have to press in the part to have this happen. I also dont like that u have to change the batteries after every time you do 2 rooms. That being said it work good to clean
