They did—and still do—exactly what I wanted. I have a Roomba vacuum robot that docks itself, but when the charging contacts get grimy from cleaning the floor, it doesn't charge properly. I bought a pack of these and used one on the contacts—problem solved. I still even have the one I used, since I barely wore it down. From a woodworker's perspective, these are great for finely sanding and dusting a well-prepped piece of raw wood. One side has a fine abrasive for light sanding, and the other side is made of a very soft, cushy material—not exactly a sponge, but perfect for brushing off sawdust without scratching the surface. But if you're looking to do any heavy-duty sanding, this isn't your tool. These are for when you want that final polish—when your sanding needs to shine like glass. It's worth the price if this is what you're looking for.
