Perfect Vegan Roast!

The perfect vegan Holiday roast! We've tried them all, every brand from every store—this is our top favorite! Cooking Tip: Turn roast over half way through cooking to avoid it getting too crispy underneath. I like to make my own vegan gravy using vegan chicken flavored stock. You can even add their gravy packet to your own if you're feeding a crowd.

Main Course? Check!

I'm vegan and I have made my own plant based t*rky roast, but it was not great! I have gotten the Gardein roast for the last couple of years for Thanksgiving and it is fantastic! It includes the gravy too! I am never disappointed with Gardein's products. Good stuff!

I love real turkey, %26 I love this "turkey" too

I'm NOT a vegetarian. I love real turkey. Fresh boneless turkey breast is one of my favorite foods. But real turkey can be a waste of money for me, since I'm picky and don't like the skin or the stringy parts or gooey-fatty parts of real turkey. This Gardein one is the next best thing because since it isn't real turkey I don't have to deal with the parts I don't like. It costs about the same price as the little boneless turkey breasts I used to get, but I get more "turkey" out of it. The amount of stuffing is good compared to the amount of turkey. I don't like cranberries in my stuffing, but it's ignore-able in this. Also I usually don't like gravy, but this Gardein gravy is good. The whole thing is easy to make. It usually cooks faster than marked on the box, probably because I use a countertop oven instead of a full-sized oven. I'm not a Millennial or a Gen Z baby, so I don't use those trendy air fryer junk things and film it all to post online; I cook this "turkey" in a real oven, a small size one, and I just plain eat the thing. It doesn't have the same flavor or texture as real turkey, but it's fine as a substitute. I guess a good analogy would be if you're making homemade pizza but are out of shredded mozzarella, so you use shredded Parmesan instead; it definitely isn't mozzarella, but it's still pizza, and it's still good.
