The Biometric MicroVault XL 1000 was designed to make portable security simple. This product has a unique notebook style design that allows you to take your handgun or valuables with you. It is compact enough to fit inside a briefcase or backpack, only measuring 12 inches wide, 10.25 inches deep, and 3.5 inches tall on the exterior. You still get plenty of space inside with the internal elastic strap and pockets to keep your valuables organized and secure. The inside measures 11.63 inches wide, 8.38 inches deep, and 2.5 inches tall and features soft foam along the walls to prevent damage to your valuables during transport. The contents can be quickly accessed with GunVault’s Patented No-Eyes Keypad. I bought this safe to secure my handgun in my bedroom. Comes with a cable system to secure the Microvault to the bed or night stand so someone cannot run off with it. The biometric finger reader is flawless and fast. I disabled the sound feature to make it's access a little more stealthy given that it will probably be used in the middle of the night.... The vault is big enough for two guns. I have a full size .45 with optics and laser and an LC9 with laser that fit perfectly.

Works as advertised! My only gripe is that there is no "handle" for either carrying, or opening this safe But overall it is pretty nice. Helpful tip: make multiple fingerprints of the same finger in different ways, like more on either edge, it'll open first shot no matter how you swipe your finger

Good Product
Does what it's supposed to do. I do recommend scanning whichever finger you choose from multiple angles so as not to have a authentication failure when it counts. Safe is pretty large but can secure numerous valuables along with your pistol of choice.
