Easy to use and you can see when it's done

I bought a different unit and returned it because it had no Amperage indication. The current flowing into a charging battery is a very helpful thing to know. This one has an Amp meter. It is easy to use with no setup required. You can see the state of charge at a glance. It also tells you when the charge is complete and switches to “maintenance” so you can not overcharge the battery. I haven't tried the alternator test, but that is something I would probably never use.
