This is a 85-in TV for $499! I could end a review right there ,I have every version of Roku 4 Series from 55, 65, 75 and now 85. Just mounted it 5 hours ago with the help of my 16 year old daughter, probably weighs 55 lbs. I'm still playing with the display settings (need to find a site that can give me some recommendations). However, the picture looks great! Audio? I got it hooked up to a soundba, everybody knows TVs ain't the greatest sound. I mean what kind of else can I say 85 inch TV, Never one of my TCLs have broke, so I moved to 75 inch to the bedroom! I definitely wanted a 96 in but again for $499 what can you do but order this TV now and it's a new version so don't look at these reviews from 2024 the TV didn't even exist.

A professional AV opinion

Roku inteface is better than Samsung and Google in my opinion. Its the most iser friendly. I am a retired Audio Visual Designer and Technician ,so this is my direct field. The refresh rate works jst fine for these large TV images. I ALSO have a computer running 1080P desktop image thru it...it doesnt have the pin sharpness of a professional 4K display from a company like NEC but it is absolutely wonderful for home use and for TV and movies. Roku apps lay out well on the screen and just are plug and play. This is NOT an audio device so everyone should not judge large flat screens for big audio...soundbars are for that. However it has good sound given the sizr of the speakers...again better than any Samsung or Google TV I have experienced. TCL is doing well in its audio for its large displays...Sad that they are harder to find now. Issue: The mounting holes are not centered on the rear of the TV. They are towards the bottom, so you will need to do some calculations in order to mount this TV at a certain height you desire.
