KitchenAid KOSE500ESS 0 inch Stainless Convection Single Wall Oven

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Overall, it is a very good oven. However, given the high-end price, 1. it should have a 'warm' button, and 2. we are disappointed with the unusable self-clean option. At the first time used, it overheated and blew the internal fuse. The repair technician recommended not using it. Therefore, we are required to clean it manually and heat at 450 degrees to burn off any residue.

I'm not certain I would recommend it to a friend for one--and only one--reason. After using the oven just once and having some cooking juices drip on the bottom surface and congeal there, we activated the self-cleaning feature. It failed to remove all of the congealed juices and nothing else we tried worked. We actually ran the self-cleaning cycle a second time for longer and a residue still remained, impervious to all efforts to clean it. Otherwise, the wall oven is very attractive and has all the features we wanted. Stylistically, it even blends beautifully with our Viking professional range.
