This item shows a Syrian hamster and this is unsafe for a Syrian unless it is abnormally small. It's work fine, spins easily, there is a bit of noise clicking sound. Definitely not silent. I would recommend for small animals if you don't need it silent and they are smaller than Syrian hamster. minimum is 11inches for Syrian.
