The 3/8 inch 10mm diameter octagonal shackle is 1-1/2 inch 38mm long and made of Tough-Cut boron-carbide, 50 percent harder than hardened steel, offering maximum resistance to cutting and sawing. The roller pin cylinder provides maximum pick and pry resistance. The hinged dial cover and shackle seal offers superior weather protection, and reinforced body bumper protects against scratches. Seller has fast shipping so that was nice. But, buyer beware............... The rubber dust flap that covers the dials doesn't stay in place. And.... this model has a serious security flaw that makes it extremely easy to figure out the combination; it took me less than 20 seconds to open the lock. This model is NOT a secure lock, I did not realize just how easy it is to pick this lock. WOW
