Child friendly attention keeper and fun

Love the butterfly. I love to teach kids as quilting has to be entertaining in my house. I always explain in detail what is being done and I did that with the go baby cutter and dies. Then I showed the 10 year old how it worked and let her go to town creating her own butterfly. I was as able to get and keep the attention of a 10 year old -she loved designing the butterflies in her color choices. She was amazed at how quickly it was cut- I just have to remember right and left and then how easily her choices became real. Now she wants to make them to sit on 12" backgrounds. She went home and told her Nana she wanted a go baby cutter for herself.

I fell in love with the butterfly wall hanging. Could not wait to get this die. Edyta Sitar was on an episode of Fon's and Porter showing her quilt designs. Amazing. I will be using this die to put a butterfly on the back of a jacket and matching with a tote to take to local quilting classes.

Love the kitty

I used it as an accent on a white block around the border of a quilt done in thirties prints. By flipping the fabric over, I could make them face each other. Everybody loved the kitties, as do I. Very easy to applique using a blanket stitch on the machine.
