I bought these for trail cams %26 small solar panels. I've never found a cam or panel in the dirt %26 the magnet permits far greater access than straps to retrieve %26 exchange memory cards %26 replace batteries. Additionally, straps can't always be used for large trees or trees with limbs where these placing these magnets are a snap.
