This arrived late. When I ordered this, I took into consideration the arrival time and it was important since my vehicle was down. I had it sitting waiting on the starter and FedEx did not deliver, said the delivery needed a signature which was not true for two reasons: first, FedEx has GPS and photos to confirm deliveries, second this was a Walmart item and when does Walmart require signature? Today, two days later, FedEx delivered the item and dumped it on my porch and did not even knock on the door so, to confirm they did not need a signature which is what FedEx claims in their email to me . What happened was, they just wanted to go home and decided that they didn't want to deliver that day which has happened over and over and over and over again Walmart refuses to recognize that FedEx is below par with their service. So many times I have had my merchandise that I've ordered come late or not at all. I'm waiting on another item right now for about a week! All Walmart customer service will do is tell me to call FedEx and wait 48 hours. That is not what I signed up for or am willing to do after I have been promised an item to be here at a certain time., especially when my transportation depends on the delivery at a certain time. Walmart might as well tack on two days to their delivery date because they do not deliver when promised. It is plain to see that Walmart does not value me as a customer. I never have this problem with Amazon. Amazon uses UPS. Sam's and Walmart and Home Depot, Bass Pro use FedEx. Amazon delivers when they say they will. Walmart does not. No amount of promo codes can make up for this inadequate service or will change my mind about ordering from Walmart. One less customer does not bother them either. This is not a marketplace item. It is sold by Walmart. So, for them to shove off the inadequacies is not a viable option. They are just plain not as good as Amazon when it comes to making business decisions such as who to contract with for freight. Why would FedEx care? They have a contract, that's all they want. If they had to pay for every late delivery, they might think twice. Even more, why would the driver care? He just figures it's time to go home, so he does. And who is left hanging? Me. So, bottom line: if you need an item when promised, don't trust Walmart.
