Got a set of these as a stocking stuffer for my grandsons. They loved them and so much fun running around the house with their new Walkie Talkies. They are smaller than I expected, but great for small hands and for fitting in the stocking. Not sure they would be big enough for a 12 year old, but for 5 and 6 year old's, they were perfect.
