Energy efficient though dims poorly.

Good quality. Only 7 watts consumed so no extra heat to add to our 90° summer evenings. Nice focused beam works well as a bedside reading light. The only problem is that the "dimmable" function doesn't work well. Light emitted is either Off or 80-100%, rather than adjustable 0-100%. So no capability to dim to very low levels, as was previously capable with an incandescent bulb. But I think that is a characteristic of many LED lights.
