GE LED 10W Daylight Indoor Flood 4-Way Bulb

I bought this in the 2-pack, but this is the same bulb as a single. I bought this 2 pack for $21.20 after tax at Walmart and installed them in our basement. I was replacing one old bulb that burned out, and decided to do 2 at a time as a comparison, with the intent to buy 2 more later on down the road (4 lights total). I was happy to see that the BR30 format was a direct replacement without any fitment issues, even though the base on the LED type is wider than a standard flood bulb is. I also bought these as they are "dimmable" and our lights do run on a dimmer switch. I was disappointed to find out that on the dimmest setting, the LED bulbs are MUCH brighter than the standard flood bulbs are. Probably at least 3 times as bright! No longer will we have a barely-lit room for movies or night time lounging! This is a con for me, and buyers should be aware of this. Next, and something that is more worrisome, is the BUZZING! These LED lights have a faint, but CONSTANT buzzing sound to them when they are on. I don't know if that goes away after they are warmed up, or after a few weeks of break-in, but for now this is almost a deal breaker. No matter how faint, I never expected my lights to make noise... Because of these cons, I rate this product 3 stars. No word on longevity as I just bought them today.
