Simple but did the trick
I was pleased with this wall plate. I wanted a white one to replace an ugly beige one. It's sturdy- not flimsy. Something as simple as changing the color can really make a difference. In fact, I might reassess the rest of my wallplates and outlet covers - it might be time for a whole house upgrade.
