Instructions
. Read back panel before using. Typical Uses: Showers, tubs, sinks, tile, countertops and fixtures. Adheres to: Most ceramic tile, laminate, porcelain, glass, metal, plastic, granite and wood. Instructions: 1. Remove dirt, grease, moisture, soap residue and old caulk from area to be sealed. Use backer rod for gaps larger than ½" x ½". 2. Remove cap. Cut nozzle to obtain desired bead size & pierce inner foil seal. 3. Apply caulk and then smooth into gap. 4. Wipe hands & tools thoroughly before washing. 5. Allow at least 30 minutes before exposing caulk to water (see below). Not for use below the water line, where FDA compliance is necessary, or in aquariums. 30 min. Water-Ready: Exposure to water possible in as little as 30 minutes with bead size max 3/16", temperature min 65°F and humidity min 50%. Otherwise, caulk should not be exposed to water for 8 hours. Do not touch or clean caulk for 24 hours. 7 yr. Mold-Free Product Protection: Cured sealant is resistant to stain-causing mold and mildew. Regular cleaning of the cured sealant is required however, as soap or other residue can cause secondary mold and mildew growth. Specifications: Meets Fed Spec TT-S-00230C; TT-S-001543A/ASTM C-920, Type-S, NS, Class 25, use NT, M, G, A & O test requirements.

It is a good caulk. Here's a tip that I just recently read, and it's been a huge help. Buy window cleaner WITHOUT AMMONIA. Apply your line of caulk. Spray the caulk line with the window cleaner. Spray your finger. Use your finger to smooth the caulk. Water doesn't work nearly as well. The window cleaner makes it so much easier to refine the bead. I had also been using too much caulk. Squirt out as small a line of caulk as possible to fill the gap.
