GE 10' Cync Dynamic Effects Neon Rope

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as the light strip arrived at my doorstop, my 9 year loudly announced that this is something she always wanted and immediately claimed the lights for her room. The app is a must have to change the colors, program the light strip, and set routines. Being able to turn the lights on and off using our Alexa, is a nice added feature. The light strip can be changed to virtually any color. The app allows you to pick a color, set the intensity, and brightness. I love that you can choose one color for the whole strip, or up to 10 different colors at a time. My daughter is obsessed with creating her own lightshows! Not only can you choose from multiple different colors, you can also pick from several different effects including twinkle, pulse, and flicker. With the music sync option, the light strip reacts to music, loud noises, and even the sound of your own voice. The flashing in addition to the other effects is a little too much for me, but my 9 year old seems to enjoy it. The lights are great during the day but even better at night! The light strip itself is amazing but I did have some issue with the double-sided tape and couldn't get to stick to a smooth and properly prepped surface even after reinforcing it with some additional tape at the very end. At first the strip adhered well, however, it slowly started to peel off after a few hours. I ended up using all of the included transparent clips to mount the strip to the underside of her bed and have had no issues since then.
