GE® 0.9 Cubic Foot Capacity Countertop Microwave Oven, Black Stainless, JES1095BMTS

Well, I'd like to rate the little 700 watt model of this microwave that I purchased in 1986. I've had it all these years and have used it constantly. Recently, the interior seals around the inside of the microwave started separating at the bottom front. Now, I would say that there are few products of any kind that you can purchase that would last almost 40 years. It is with much regret that I must let go of my old dependable friend that I have had in this microwave. I am certain that this 900 watt version will last me just as long. My old one has the same features and buttons as this one, except for the child lock feature. Thank you, GE for making such a fine product.

This is a pretty decent microwave. Despite being 900 watts, the same as the one I replaced, it seems to be a little less powerful. But it is way better than the 700 watt version I tried instead. The beep is less irritating than some and there is actually a "sound" button where you can turn it off, which is one of the reasons I got it. It also has a "add 30 seconds" button, which I like. On the downside, you have to hit the buttons pretty hard, and there are no memory buttons for commonly used times.
