Need 2people to open. Great shade.

I am 5' tall and needed help pulling the legs apart to fully open the tent. I had to read all the comments to find out how to fully expand the tent I do have to bend down to enter because the borders are lower than 5'. Still it works great to shade my plants from very hot Hawaiian sunlight.

Overpriced, limited use

I bought this to use as a temporary cover for my porch after losing my awning to a heavy wind. I didn't know until reading the instructions that it wasn't meant to be used in inclement weather. Having no other choice, I tried it anyway. It actually held up to the rain for a while, but the cover came off in the wind because of how poorly it was anchored (Velcro strips only). Apparently, the only time you can use this is on a clear day with no wind. Assembly wasn't bad once I figured out how and where to attach the cover, but it was somewhat difficult to get it raised into position and even more difficult to take down. Others might not encounter the difficulties I did, but I wouldn't buy it again if I had the choice. While the metal frame is of fairly good quality, the canopy is thin and poorly designed. Definitely not worth the $80 I paid for it.
