I use this on my desk and it works nicely as it absorbs unpleasant smells (such as food) and leave a light comfortable smell afterwards. It's easy to use as I just have to remove the protective cover under the cap and it's ready to go. Occasional shake to move the beads around inside the box is recommended for best result. One big plus is that the beads are pretty fun to look at so this also works as a nice decoration.

I was not sure if these odor eliminating beads would work because the lid came completely off during shipping and they were half spilled into the packaging. But it was a plastic bag so nothing “leaked” out and they completely filled up the jar. So it seemed no damage had been done and I was hoping they'd work as intended. I followed the directions and placed the jar in my bathroom next to the problem disposal bin. It has now been about a week and I am totally satisfied with how these beads are working. The bothersome odor I was having trouble with has not been detected (as it usually would have been by now), plus it is not because the beads are putting off a strong scent as a way to "cover up" odors (which would be unacceptable to me). Apparently, the beads actually do absorb the odor. The jar size is 3.5” tall and about 3.6” in diameter. This is really a useful product for me and I plan on getting a jar for my daughter to place on the shelf above her cat's covered litter box to keep her laundry room odor-free. So far any bead shrinkage has been minimal but in a couple of months when needed, I will definitely be purchasing a replacement jar.
