Not sturdy.

Not sturdy. Slats under mattress are not strong at all. Center support from head to toe under slats is useless. I will be replacing this with a 2x4. My 80lb child bounced into bed and cracked slats. Slats are weak enough to cause sagging. Needs reinforced from the beginning. Side shelves do not lock or latch into place and can easily be knocked down. Also, screws in the top of the bed are exposed. I've purchased many beds for my children and this is by far the worst.
