Great purchase for an elderly person / in home car
This has been a great purchase. My husband was able to assemble it easily ( I would not have been able to). For the mattress, we did add a 2 in topper and it has been very comfortable for my mom. The way that the knees lift has been BIG help for her back pain. The ability to lower the bed has been great for her not falling. We chose the 1/2 rail so that she can use it to pull up on and this has been very helpful also.

Tried to call customer service 11 times and there was no answer. Someone picked up the phone after saying hello and then they hung up. the instructions on putting the hospital bed together for a terminal patient was very frustrating and took several hours with 3 people trying to put the bed together.
