My 15 year old niece asked for this camera for her birthday and was surprised by all the fun accessories. She had no problems and had pictures strung up the same day. I read the reviews prior to purchasing and I was surprised how many people were upset that batteries and/or film wasn't included. Her set did come with batteries but I got her rechargeable ones as well. As for film, I read the list of things included in the kit and bought film- no problems. Definitely recommend this set, and reading product descriptions
