Tillandsia Air Plants for Your Home or Business Air plants are easy-care house plants in the genus Tillandsia. Air plants are unique because they do not need soil to grow. They are epiphyte plants native to Central and South America. They only need light, water and air to survive. They are great for small spaces, as accents, home decor or party favors. Our favorite plants include Xerographica, Streptophylla, Harrisii, Ionantha Mexico and Caput Medusae. The options are unlimited – Tillandsia can stand alone or pair with an accessory such as a terrarium, ceramic hanger, cork bark, driftwood, and more! Air plants also make great gifts – They are the gift that keeps giving! Air plants reproduce by producing offsets or “pups” from the base of the plant after they show off their spectacular bloom. COLORFUL AIR PLANTS: Eye-catching and vibrant, marvel at the beauty of tastefully dyed multi-colored air plants. The Ionantha are blushed with color on the top of the leaves, while the Harrisii has a unique "tip treatment." Juncea, Funkiana and Argentea are expertly painted to mimic their natural coloration, with subtle color added at the tops of their narrow leaves. Brachycaulos Abdita and Xerographica are given a more intense blush.
SIZE & INFO: The plants are approximately 1-4 Inches in Width and 1-12 Inches in height, depending on the species. Our floral dyes are safe for the air plants themselves, pets and humans alike. Plant was in bad shape upon arrival.

The top was beautiful, but the bottom arrived in very bad shape. I knew it wouldn't survive. I have another one for months, and she's still beautiful, but this poor girl was hurt in transit, I believe.
