The manufacturer doesn't make them as thick as they used to. I have Fruit of the Loom thermal waffle Henley shirts from seven years ago made of the same Cotton Polyester blend that are a bit thicker and the waist seams are better quality than these. But that's a manufacturer issue, not a fault of Wal-Mart or Wal-Mart.com. They also cost a lot less back then, but everything did.
