Itn - Frozen Front: 1941 [DIGITAL VIDEO DISC]

The opening scene, which was an aerial view of a German armored column proceeding along a rural road through a forested section of Russia. Unfortunately, from this point on the movie was a big disappointment. The major portion of the script focused on interpersonal relationships and an attempt to identify a spy within the Russian ranks. The final chapter consist of a poor attempt to portray the Russians charging the German forces across open ground with only small arms. Movie props and acting both left a great deal to be desired. I purchased this movie as it was manufactured by ITN Distribution Inc, who distributed the WWII movie, Thunder of War, which I felt was a 4.5 star production. I would recommend that you Save your Money and PASS ON THIS MOVIE!

We didn't like this movie because too hard for us to follow. Many sub-stories, and we got confused. Produced in 2018, whole movie done in Russian language with English dubbed over. Our dvd player also gave us subtitles, but this added to confusion. Russian movie industry needs work if trying to do an entertaining production.
