Fresh Whole White Mushrooms, 16 oz

I buy this size the most, it usually saves a bit over the smaller ones.Clean, just a slight wipe with a dry towel if needed, most of the time. Sizes vary in the container, I've had everything from button to stuffing size but the average is a medium large mushroom. Good flavor in the milder white ones, texture is meaty and close grained. Excellent fresh on salads and sliced into hot dishes. They lend a depth of flavor to any dish, boosting the other ingredients

the mushrooms I got seemed to be good throughout, but once opened they didn't last very long. I used a 4th right a way, and resealed the original package with cling wrap, making sure they were in the bottom of my fridge. used more 2 days later and noticed some were well over peak, so I slightly sauteed remaining and froze them. I think this is a good buy if you plan to use them within 3 days
