I bought this cake for my mother's birthday on July 6th. It was very delicious. Texture was soft and moist. The lemon taste was rich, but very nice. It was the perfect cake for any summer event. If summer had a cake flavor this would be it. Not only that it was so fresh and so moist that we had a piece of her birthday cake 3 days later, it was still moist and and perfect. It would have paired up nicely with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I would totally buy this again one day and very much recommend it to anyone having a summer get together.
